  1. After frying, toss/drizzle the rings with the maple syrup and add to a serving platter.
Rosemary Maple Syrup
  1. ​Heat syrup in microwave, then add rosemary sprig and allow to "steep" for about an hour. Strain the syrup to remove the rosemary and transfer to another container. For more rosemary flavour, bash the sprig with the back of a chef's knife to release essential oils before steeping.
Pesto Aioli
  1. Combine 1 cup mayonnaise, clove of chopped garlic and 3-4 tablespoons of pesto until thoroughly mixed.
