Fondue Burger
Ingredients
Prepare the Smoked Cheese Fondue
  • .5lb fresh mushroomssliced
  • 1each Shallotminced
  • salt and pepperto taste
  • 1Tbsp olive oil
  • 1.50Tbsp garlicminced
  • 2.50cups heavy cream
  • .50cup Smoked mozzarellagrated
  • .50cup Smoked cheddargrated
  • .25cup Provolone cheesegrated
Prepare the Dijonnaise
  • .25cup Dijon mustard
  • 3.25cups Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise
Assemble the Burger
  • 10each Pretzel Buntoasted
  • 10each Shallotssliced, caramelized
  • 1.25cups Dijonnaiseprepared
  • 3.80lbs Beefground, 80/20, formed into 6 oz. patties
  • 2.75cups Smoked Cheese Fondueprepared
  • pepperto taste
Instructions
Prepare the Smoked Cheese Fondue
  1. Lightly sauté mushrooms, garlic, and shallots in olive oil, add in the heavy whipping cream and cook until cream thickens slightly.
  2. Finish the fondue by adding in the cheeses. Season to taste and hold hot for service.
Prepare the Dijonnaise
  1. Combine Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise with Dijon mustard. Hold refrigerated for service.
Assemble the Burger
  1. Spread 1 Tbsp Dijonnaise on each side of the bun. Add grilled beef patty then top with 0.25 cup Smoked Cheese Fondue and 2.5 Tbsp caramelized shallots. Add pepper to taste.
