The Day Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving incoming products, unloading and sorting the product, replenishing, pulling and loading freight, and performing dock clerk duties when necessary.

Ginsberg’s offers on the job training by highly tenured and professional employees who want YOU to succeed. To perform this job, you must be able to comfortably lift and maneuver cases that range from 1lb – 80lbs.  No experience required!

Weekly Work Schedule

•  Two shift options
  • Monday – Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm
  •  LIMITED AVAILABILITY Monday – Friday  8 am to 4:30 pm

Day Warehouse Jobs Salary

• Pay for this position starts at $19/hr 

Day Warehouse Job Experience

While on the job, you will be cross-trained to support and perform all functions of the position and replenish product in their appropriate pick slots. Along with those responsibilities, this position will require you to build and wrap pallets in a manner that allows for safe transport of the product and loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.

You will also be required to safely handle product in compliance with our Food Safety Program, as well as sort pallets, bins, trash, cardboard and plastic into the appropriate locations, while practicing a “Clean As You Go” approach to your work to keep the warehouse inspection-ready at all times.

Day Warehouse Job Requirements 

• Receives, unloads, sorts, replenishes, pulls and loads freight.
• Accurately handles freight to maintain warehouse management system data integrity.
• Safely handles product in compliance with Ginsberg’s Foods Food Safety Program.
• Minimizes freight damage and waste to maximize product quality control.
• Maintains a safe, organized and clean workplace throughout every scheduled shift.
• Complies with company safety rules at all times.
• Follows directions set by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Supports the functions of the Dock Clerk when necessary.
• Uses an automated voice pick system to pick orders from the Dry, Cooler and Freezer sections of the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned.
