Meet Nick and Ed, our dedicated instructors for future CDL A drivers. Their role is to provide personalized training to aspiring truck drivers, combining classroom sessions with 1 on 1 on-the-road practice. Our team of highly skilled and experienced trainers is committed to delivering a comprehensive CDL A training program that emphasizes theoretical understanding and practical road skills, meeting all DOT requirements. They are genuinely passionate about their work and find immense gratification in witnessing trainees, who start with no prior experience, grow in confidence, knowledge, and proficiency to pursue a successful career as commercial drivers. This is the true driving force behind our trainers’ dedication.
As a full time driver trainer, Nick has been integral to the TPR driver training process getting drivers prepared to obtain their Class A in a few months, which is impressive! Nick’s duties include often being the first one in the door at 3:30 AM in order to facilitate dispatch, then he focuses on training. Nick works with trainees to become experienced with road test prep, DOT pre-trip inspections, TPR training and documentation, and on-the-road training. Nick also has a great military career in the US Army Infantry including 3 solo parachute jumps, 1 Afghanistan tour (as a dog handler), and 1 Iraq tour, and was selected for Army Recon Scout Platoon.
Ed Snow is one of our tenured commercial drivers, who has advanced through different departments within Ginsberg’s Foods. From the Night Warehouse team, to out on the road as a CDL A driver, and a driver trainer giving on-the-road training for future Ginsberg’s professional commercial drivers. For those who have had the pleasure to work with Ed, they know he’s the consummate professional! Ed continues to excel as a delivery driver and trainer with his performance, service, and focus on safety. Ed emulates the Transportation culture with a strong focus on respect, communication, and service.

Jeff was one of the first driver’s at Ginsberg’s Commercial Truck Driving School, and he was able to set the bar exceptionally high as our first graduate. Jeff worked hard to learn how to become a safe, efficient, and service-oriented delivery driver. One of the nicest and most professional drivers our the fleet. Jeff has recently become a trainer at Ginsberg’s company sponsored cdl training program.
Trainee Thomas Holmes was ready to kick off his CDL A career at a company that boasts a 100% pass rate and offers paid one-on-one training, something that would cost extra at other commercial driving schools. This approach helps you succeed in your training and future career as a CDL A truck driver here at Ginsberg’s Foods. Holmes passed his CDL A test and is a current driver at Ginsberg’s.
Randy Hull joined the Ginsberg’s Commercial Truck Driving School, from an hour and a half away! Focused home time with his family and creating a sustainable career where he can grow and succeed are the two factors that drive Randy’s, well, drive to become a CDL A truck driver at Ginsberg’s Foods.
Our company’s paid training program for obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) will cover all the necessary skills and knowledge required to pass the Class A road test. This includes mastering specific maneuvers like offset backing, parallel parking, conducting thorough vehicle inspections according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, understanding DOT log regulations, preparing for road courses, and learning how to couple and uncouple trailers. Additionally, trainees will undergo certified safety training provided by the Smith System.
It is important to note that this program is physically demanding, as our drivers and trainees are required to manually unload heavy products at customer locations using tools like hand trucks and ramps. They must also navigate various surfaces, inclines, steps, and stairs while delivering the products to the appropriate areas within the customer’s place of business, such as dry storage, refrigerated storage, or frozen storage.
We fully stock our warehouse with a wide range of food items, including proteins, produce, desserts, snacks, and seafood, but we do not handle alcohol or tobacco products.
Our skilled Training Team provides training for Delivery Drivers at Ginsberg’s Foods, using specialized equipment and routes. Our seasoned cdl trainers work 1 on 1 with you to get you ready to be behind the wheel of OUR trucks and pass that road test. We are proud to say we have achieved a 100% success rate to-date.
Pay for this position starts at $18 per hour without experience. Opportunities to earn annual performance-based raises available!
Additional rapid pay increases available based on time spent with the company!
Overtime is available after 40hrs and is paid weekly!
