Italian Dressing – Pour 3 cups vinegar, 1 / quarts water, / gallon salad oil and dry mix into a 12 quart mixing bowl. Whip 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer or stir vigorously by hand with wire whisk. Refrigerate 12 hours for optimum flavor and thickness. Keep refrigerated. Stir before using. Yields 1 gallon.
Ranch Dressing – Reconstitute. Add dry mix to 1/2 gallon buttermilk and mix with wire whip or electric mixer on low speed. Add 1/2 gallon mayonnaise and continue mixing until smooth. Refrigerate 12 hours for optimum flavor and thickness. Keep refrigerated. Stir before using. Yields 1 gallon.
Prepared dressing will stay fresh 3 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator
