The Night Warehouse Generalist, is responsible for performing a variety of job functions that support the operations of the Night Warehouse team, including but not limited to replenishing pick slots, loading trailers, backup yard jockey, seafood processing and mentoring new team members.
Night Warehouse Generalist Work Schedule
- Sun – Thursday, 5pm – 1am. Overtime is mandatory when needed during the work week and is available weekly after 40hrs.
Night Warehouse Generalist Job Pay
- $21/hr to start. Once you gain experience, pay can range up to $30.99/hr.
Essential Job Requirements
- Replenishes product in the appropriate pick slots.
- Builds and wraps pallets in a manner that allows for safe transport of the product.
- Loads pallets of product onto trucks using warehouse rolling stock.
- Seafood processing and picking responsibilities.
- Performs the functions of the Office Clerk as needed.
- Assists with training/mentoring of new team members.
- Supports the Yard Jockey role when business demands necessitate.
- Accurately handles product to maintain warehouse management system data integrity.
- Minimizes product damage and waste to maximize product quality control.
- Sorts pallets, bins, trash, cardboard and plastic into appropriate locations.
- Safely handles product in compliance with documented Food Safety/HACCP standard operating procedures.
- Complies with company safety rules at all times.
Education/Experience
Possession of a High School Diploma/GED
Licenses/Certifications/Special Requirements
- OSHA Forklift Certification required or must be able to obtain.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Subject to random and reasonable suspicion drug testing.
- Subject to a pre-employment background check.
